Leaf had outgrown it's brand and identity. We needed something fresher, friendlier, a direction that would differentiate us from the competition. Working with Red Antler in New York City, we developed an entirely new brand and visual identity and rolled it out over all consumer touchpoints.
The story behind the logo
The Leaf Mobile POS system enables store owners to connect directly with their customers, making moments that will be remembered and built upon. This connection is reflected in the logotype; how the letterforms flow together represents the ease and seamlessness with which Leaf fits into your business and streamlines customer interactions.
Aren’t leaves supposed to be green?
Our new color palette is bright and friendly, and separates us from many of our competitors who use green—as we used to. Our new colors offer more variety, more balance, and varying levels of intensity than our previous color set. This adds up to more visual interest, and when balanced with lots of white space, gives the brand a more open, vivacious feel.
Photography focusing on connections
Our new, customized photography focuses on the interactions between small merchants and their customers—the most important connection point for business owners. The photographs feature some merchants who love using Leaf POS, and volunteered to participate in our rebrand.
These new visuals flow from our corporate web site to our LeafBusiness back office tools to the Tablet POS app—delivering a cohesive, impactful, consistent brand experience.
